May 2015- #snapshotsmakemesmile:)
May 1- me. Look at this adorable door the parent organization did for me, which is so me. Teacher appreciation is just great.
May
2- candy. Tonight we went with friends to see the 2nd avengers. We
don't buy concessions at movies, way too over priced that it makes me a
little sick. But I took pictures of them.
May 3- flower. My wedding bouquet was the most unique and perfect ensemble. Nothing beets lilacs and the orchids that went with it. My sister did a smashing job.
May 4- someone you care for. Here are some of my young women that I care
for dearly. Tonight we went to the cemetery to look for some graves
that some people have asked help for their family history on
www.findagrave.com.
May 5- a gift. It is teacher appreciation week and one of my new students brought me this tasty morsel. How sweet that she took the time to make this for me.
6- purple. This was a bag made for me by a young woman
leader. I don't remember the story behind it, but use it daily to
carry my camera and other goodies.
May
7- I want- I always want a Dunford double chocolate cake doughnut.
Doughnuts are probably my very favorite pastry of all time. After a
rough day I decided that doughnuts were needed but most importantly
WANTED.
May 8- 10 o'clock. Yes, Daniel and I polished off a Tracy's Peanut Butter Cup at Leatherby's. We finished it right about ten. The rest of the time there I was given more photo challenges by the company I was keeping. Nothing like taking secret snaps of those around with out them knowing it, specifically our waiter for the evening.
May
9- watch. Today I took Daniel to one of my favorite Georgia eateries:
ZAXBY'S. Some great friends in our ward joined us for this outing. He
too served in GA and wanted to introduce this goodness to his family.
It was fun to watch them experience it for the first time. It was a
Georgia day, good southern based food and non-stop rain.
May 10- light. Today is Mother's day. Although I am not with my mommy today I wanted to share the fact that she has always been a source of light in my life. This is a snap of the temple quilt she made for Daniel and I. A place where she has taught me I can go to receive light. She, next to the Savior, is always someone I have admired and wanted to be like!! My mother really is the best!
11- sunset. I love sunsets. This was actually taken on the 21, but the one on the 11 was dark rain clouds, you couldn't even see the sun.
May
12- mother. Here is a snap of my sis-in-law. A woman who was blessed
with children because of the sacrifice of others. You do not have to be
the one to carry a child for 9 months to be an amazing mother. She
knows that being a mom is a sacred and important responsibility. Some
days are more difficult than others, but the joy out weighs in the long
run.
May 13- child. Here is a sweet child, one I adore with all my heart. A sweet spirit right from the start.
14- love. This is one of my most favorite pictures in the world!! He does love more than we can comprehend.
15-
stars. The night sky has been crowded with clouds, no chance of
natural stars. It is Memorial Day in this month, so why not these
stars, right?
16-
ride. Nobody I would rather ride with. Coming back from going to the
Payson Temple Open House with the youth from our ward. (Taken on the
21, so maybe I got behind)
17-
it was supposed to be color block but I don't really know what to do
for that. So see how cool this is. My aide at school gave me all this
hp gear. 6 full kits of ink for my printer and a bunch of other free hp
gear. Love it.
18- trees. Today was the first time I saw the new leaves growing up on those tees out front, I love spring.
19-
stripes. The best kind of stripes, well except zebras. I love our
country and the fact that it was founded for/on religious freedom. I
know that this is a blessed country, and it is our responsibility to be
the best we can be and ensure true freedom to all that desire to have
it.
20-
beginning with M. Mountains that have snow on them are a wonderful
sight. Our winter was so mild you can almost say we didn't have it.
We've had about 2 weeks of solid rain that we are so grateful for. Glad
to see some snow somewhere.
21- a sign. I thought this was pretty darn funny. That's right, we believe in food.
22-
bird. We went to the zoo (23) and this bird was just beggin' for his
close up. Too bad I didn't bring the camera with the lens that would
have delivered.
23-
yummy. After the zoo Daniel decided we had to go to Chuck-a-rama.
Look what I found. We had white cake with raspberry filling for our
wedding cake. Not the same but still tasty.
24-
dark. We went with some good friends to Red Butte gardens (25) and we
saw a number of different plants. I have always loved irises, look how
dark and gorgeous it is
25- beauty This is a beautiful spot at Red Butte Gardens. I love waterfalls and these smaller irises.
26- cozy. I think these guys look quite cozy together.
27- smile. I really love moose. But nothing better then seeing Daniel smile while riding one.
28- friendship. The month of May is when Daniel and I changed our friendship to a relationship. A change that is eternal.
29-
age. My grandmother is the perfect example of what age should be. She
may be older but she is as young at heart as I've ever known anyone.
And even though she has had many opportunities and experiences that she
could have let her heart age, she never let it get her down.
30-
road. Here is my brother and his new beautiful wife. They both have
been down a road that originally they wouldn't have chosen, but, it led
them to one another and they have begun their journey together on a new
road. So happy for them.
31
- celebrate. Our family had much to celebrate this weekend. First, my
oldest brother got married. Mom and Dad reported before leaving on
their mission. And today is my brother's birthday. It was an amazing
weekend.

April 2015 treasures- #snapshotsmakemesmile:)
Apr 1 challenge- April showers all we were showered with today was sunshine and spring budding plants
Although the challenge was April showers was yesterday, I had to post what came showering down today.
Challenge April 2- TOGETHER. I love my Daniel! We would rather be together then anywhere else!!
April 3 challenge- favorite color. I found that outside the temple a beautiful tree with purple flowers. A favorite place with my favorite color
April 4- light. With it being conference weekend I thought of taking a snap of the leaders of the church, but then I also thought about how the scriptures are a major light in my life, and while I was reading them this came through the window
April 5- Sweet. There are few things sweeter then my beloved. He helps bring joy into my life daily.
April 6- letter or shall we say Letterby's. Some of my favorite letters put together right here.
April 8- embrace. These two are the best of buds. Here is a grateful embrace to Uncle Daniel for finding "the green phone"
April 9- 4 things, here are four of my favorite people. We spent a fun day in Ogden learning and playing the day away. Lucky gal I am to spend my break with these guys
April 10- grain. Here we are eating our cereal grains for breakfast. Love having these yittles around me. They, like grain, do the heart good.
April 11- a is for . . . Apples. I have recently begun juicing and so I just happen to have fresh apples in a couple different colors
April 12- tiny. Today at church good friends of ours informed us when we came to their place last that our micro sd card fell out at their place. How grateful we were that we had a couple of snaps on their so that they knew who to return it to. I love these tiny cards, but tiny sometimes makes things tough.
April 13- warm. Love nice springy spring days. The warmth is just one of the reasons that it is my favorite season
April 15- someone you love. I love Daniel of course, and because of him I love us. What a blessed gal I am to have him.
April 16- quiet. I love my spring, however, I did miss the quiet and peace the white snow and beautiful clouds bring. A nice, new, quiet start to the day and some much needed precipitation.
April 17- relax. Tonight we enjoyed an evening with dear friends eating pizza, and playing games. One of my all time favorite ways to take a break. Although this is not a picture of their huge love sack I relaxed on, it is the same color. At home this is just one place I relax.
April 18- change. Daniel and I had a nice afternoon together. Today we went to the temple and finished the last set of cards I had to get finished before family temple weekend coming uo this next weekend. Then he took me out for a little Panda Express, which is always a delight. We stopped at Walmart to buy a gallon of milk and he paid with cash, which means, I get the change. He doesn't have a pocket for it in his wallet and I do.
April 19- left. This food processor was the only thing left from my new ninja I haven't been able to use, until today when I mixed up some beehive sugar cookies for my brother's engagement dinner.
April 20-right. There is something so right about an awesome co-worker who brings goodness to share on a Monday morning. This was the right move and just what I needed
April 21- bucket list. While thinking of a career for myself being a full time librarian in an elementary school was on my list. This year I was blessed to have that goal on my list checked off. My daddy always said find something you love to do and make a job out of it. Smart man.
April 23- polka dots. Actually taken on the 26. One of #theyittleones had the cutest pants and shoes that had polka dots.
April 24-cozy. Actually taken on 26. My sister doesn't want to get rid of her cozy glider she snuggled her sweet twins in, but doesn't have the room to hold on to it. I told her I would be more then happy to help out with storing it. It is really cozy.
April 25- rings. I just took one and it was also on the 26. My oldest bro is getting married in just about a month. Today we had an engagement dinner and I snapped one of the tasteful ring my brother gave to her. I would have snapped his as well, but he doesn't have his yet.
April 26-soft. My responsibility for the dinner was beehive sugar cookies. Although they were crunchy, when the glaze sat on them long enough for two layers to harden, everyone, no matter how thick, were soft as could be. My awesome sis in law with her delectable artistic ability finished off each cookie with perfect lines. Yum
April 27 - square. I love being married to someone who is Asian, it makes decorating simple yet elegant. Here is the kanji for love in a square frame. This hangs in our dining room. Daniel actually is the one who found these at Family Dollar. One accidentally broke and they were good enough not to make us buy it. We bought whole ones instead.
April 28- something new. My awesome assistant, Joy, brought this to me. Every one can use an aloe vera plant, right. I thought so. Super excited to have this plant.
April 29- fuzzy. I love stuffed animals. Why, because they are fuzzy. Here are a few of the favorite ones Daniel has purchased for me.
April 30- you. So, this is me, after an extra long day at work. I only have 15 minutes where I am not teaching on Thursday, interviewed a candidate for principal for our school, had reading fun night, then hurried home for some fun relax time with my beehives. Tired but satisfied.
